I would like at some point to be able to update my blog other than to say ‘an update is coming’ , or to say ‘I’m aware of a problem with my JQuery slideshow in the portfolio’ page. The code is being worked on, as is the update; if you need examples from my portfolio, or an update on how hectic things are right now, well, let me know. Unfortunately sometimes life activities (apartments and apps and everything else not named a, oh my) stand in the way of living one’s life fully, but as the poster says, ‘keep calm and carry on’. It’s also saying ‘get excited and make stuff’, and I never want to have to choose between the two.
edit: now JQuery’s fixed, but some of the formatting of spacing is verklempt – it’s always one thing or another. Still, the support forum for my WordPress theme (made by the most excellent Pexato) is a huge help, and a perfect example of an added extra that helps with customer service. I had purchased the theme because I fell in love with his elegant design; having a bonus of a support forum for software is a huge help, even with something like WordPress that’s easy on the front end but a little more complicated on the back end especially with PHP based plugins. In the end, I hope someday to not deal with all the technical issues having a site means, but on the other hand having supports for that technical stuff definitely makes the pain of debugging code issues easier.
Regards,
