This is a showcase of the AI projects I’ve created the past couple of years.
Assemblage
Problem
Artists have to manually search dozens of sites that have details on opportunities (fellowships, grants, gallery call for artists etc.). How might we make it easier to find targeted opportunities for mixed media artists in NYC?
Approach
This product was created as part of the AI Circles community class. Assemblage is an AI Agent for mixed media sculpture artists in NYC. (Assemblage means ‘a collection, gathering or assembly of people or things’). It does the following:
- Run a general Web search for open calls for artists in New York City
- Create list of URLs of open calls (from galleries) and add to Google Sheet
- Have Gumloop search through list for possible calls
- Send an email when there are new entries on any of the URLs
Next Steps
This one proved to be a bit more technically frustrating, and I’ve since discovered a few sites that have this functionality but I plan to write this up as a case study in the future.
Dancecard
Problem
There are so many fantastic health and wellness event listings in New York City – including websites, newsletters, and Instagram feeds – but no one view of them all.
Approach
Dancecard is an event aggregation app that provides one place to view events, save them to your calendar and share with friends
Next Steps
I will likely expand this at some point. You can view the full case study
Neurosana
Problem
Understanding therapeutic options for AuDHD women (who have both ADHD and Autism) can be overwhelming. How might we create a way to learn about symptoms, causes, and possible therapeutic options so that they gain knowledge and empowerment?
Approach
This product was created as part of the Transition into UX for Healthcare course. The Neurosana application allows a user to explore therapy options. The application is based on a variety of sources such as the Duke Center for Girls & Women with ADHD as the source of recommendations, and was created in Lovable using a simple product requirements document.
Next Steps
I will be sharing more of this in a future case study (including the demo video) and expanding the product as well.
