During my professional career I’ve gained experience in a variety of roles and companies – including a variety of:
- projects – from small design projects to multiple page CMS driven Web sites; from the very beginning of a project, as well as more short term, ‘half way through a project and fix things’ engagements
- roles – as a business analysis as well as a designer and builder of solutions (coding)
- sizes – from small (startups) to large (government)
- statuses – both ‘in house’, internal team member within a company as well as external consulting
No matter what the circumstances, my work utilizes best practices and planning. That planning includes business analysis and requirements engineering, as well as project monitoring throughout a project. This allows me to create products that fulfil the goals of the project – and exceed expectations and desires of my clients. I’m also a stronger designer because I’ve ‘been in the trenches’ building sites from scratch, and because I’ve worked along the entire product development life cycle – from planning to coding.
